Combined system for sputter coating or carbon/metal evaporation.
With a selection of interchanged inserts and sample stages the Q150T-ES is used to:
- Sputter coat samples using Chromium or Iridium as targets for Scanning EM.
- Carbon coating using carbon rods for Scanning EM and Transmission EM.
- Glow discharge to clean hydrocarbon contamination from components, hydrophilisation, surface cleaning.
