K850 Critical Point Dryer

Critical point drying (CPD) is a method for drying delicate samples for Scanning EM applications. During preparation of biological specimen for Scanning EM, while changing from the liquid to gaseous state, the surface structures of a specimen can be damaged due to surface tension of the transition liquid. The K850 CPD machine enables controlled drying of delicate specimens.
