Spinning Disk Confocal Olympus IXplore-Spin

Introduction

The Olympus IXplore Spin microscope system’s spinning disk is a system which combines optical sectioning of confocal with the high sensitivity of widefield microscopy allowing imaging of fast dynamic processes and live specimens while considerably reducing phototoxicity. The CSUW1-T1S spinning disk supports an especially large field of view (17mm x 16mm), fast 3D confocal image acquisition, and prolonged cell viability in time-lapse experiments.
